Both boys instantly loved these items. They both wanted to build them immediately upon opening the boxes. They enjoyed building the watch and the little character that comes with the watch. They're both proud to wear these to school every day to show to the other star wars fans in their group of friends. A real hit. Right out of the box, the first watch he received was missing several pieces of the Dooku character, so it was exchanged for another. When he received the second, I helped him adjust the strap to fit (removing the lego links) and was surprised at the "cheap" feel of the watch. The very next day, the connecting link that connects the wristband links to the watch itself broke in half, but luckily I was able to mend it quickly, otherwise I would have had a very disappointed little boy.The lego watch is, in my opinion, made extremely cheaply, especially for the price. I'm surprised that lego would make a product with such poor quality such as this. My children are all lego fans, as am I, but not of this watch! I had been concerned that he would either not find it comfortable, or that it wouldn't fit him properly (I had previously purchased a kids watch for him that was just too big). The good news is the removable Lego "links" in the watch make it infinitely adjustable. Punch line is my son wears the watch 24/7 now. I would highly recommend this watch. |
