The marked hands and different hour and minute bands are a thoughtful touch. My son is learning how to read analog clocks in k5 and this was a selling point. My only complaint is that the band is cheap and bulky, so I will have to find something more comfortable for my son to wear. For the first two days he gave us the time every 20 minutes. The band fits him ok. Just once he told me he was getting unconfortable (hot) for using it all day. Hour and minute hand's clock have written in it what they mark, and the watch has separated numbers for the hour and for the minute marks. Jack Sparrow is a welcomed extra into this excellent watch. I'm an adult, but I have tiny wrists, and I wanted a nice little watch that didn't overwhelm them. It's easy to read, fits well, and looks nice. You can't really tell it's a kids' watch until you get up close. I'm also a huge fan of the Pirates movies, so I certainly don't mind having Captain Jack Sparrow on my wrist. |
