This is such a great watch and how clever that it includes a tool to help teach children to learn how to tell time. The added benefit of knowing these watches are steel and safe for kids is a plus!

For what this is and the price, this is a good basic quality little watch for a Pirates of the Caribbean movie fan, a pirates fan, or just a kid who wants to tell time. Stainless steel water resistant case, good smooth black leather band, and an attractive face with marked minutes at 5-minute intervals and the hours set on the bezel. It's designed for kids so the band is shorter than an adult's band would be, but it actually works well as a watch for a woman who has medium to small wrists.

I liked the design and collect the odd piece of POTC merchandise now and again, and this watch has worked out fine - the hands are marked with "hour" and "minute" but it doesn't spoil the look, I doubt anyone could tell this is a kid's watch. But I'd buy it for a child in a heartbeat, as it is a good basic watch and not cheesy at all, especially with the new POTC movie coming out in May 2011, be fun for a kid to have at the movie. My son loved this watch when he got it. Unfortunately, within a month you couldn't keep the tops on. He was heartbroken when he lost one at school. Save your money, buy a watch without tops.

Got this for my son's 7th birthday. He literally won't take it off. He swims, takes baths and sleeps with it on. He was learning to tell time all year at school but he's great at it now. Wish I had bought this sooner. The labeling on the hands is perfect. Great gift for every little kid you know.
