It has Lightning McQueen so my son loves it. The hour hand has the word "hour" in black letters and the hours are in black letters. The minute hand says "minutes" in white letters and the minutes are printed in white letters. It makes it a lot easier to learn to tell time. It is water resistant (to 99 feet according to manufacturer). We bought the leather because of poor reviews of the velcro strap not fitting well. The leather does fit well, but my son needs help putting it on. My one pet peeve is that when you have a six year old learning to tell time, he does not automatically know where the numbers are. When it is 6:30 - the "6" is upside down so it looks like a "9" and my son will say "9:30." We will get into an argument over what time it is. They should not have put the "6" upside down. All the numbers should be right side up since it is supposed to be designed for children learning to tell time. If it was not for that fact, the watch would get five stars.
