This watch is fantastic! It has a Spiderman face plate, the second hand looks like a web stream, and it gets even better. The watch has two outer rings, the inner ring lists minute in 5, 10, 15 increments. The outer ring has the numbers 1 - 12. Even more helpful, the hour hand says "hour" on it, and the minute hand says "minute" on it. Doesn't get any easier than that. Max was telling time on his own within 2 minutes. Another great feature is the band. No latch work, mo metal springs that pinch the skin. The watchband is made of velcro! Max could do it one handed and was able to secure it comfortably on his own. This has got to be one of the coolest watches I've ever seen for a child and with 2 kids and 15 nieces and nephews, I've seen my fair share. I'm no easy mark, this watch deserves all 5 of the stars I gave it. Considering the expensive price on the watch, I expected an easy on-easy off watch band. He immediately loved the watch and wanted to wear it at once! Disappointingly, the band was totally unworkable. There was absolutely no way a young boy's wrist could accommodate the large sloppy mysterious band. My daughter and I searched the Internet and Chicagoland high and low for a child's watch band. We finally found one at Target for an inexpensive price, and now he is wearing his watch and proudly learning to tell time. I would expect to be able to trust the Marvel label.
